When we entered the apparel industry, we noticed something odd: fishing brands were being treated like everyone else.Same generic factories. Same standard fabrics. Same indifferent account managers who could not tell a UPF 50+ shirt from a basic tee.
We knew fishing was not just another sport. Fishing apparel has to perform under sun, saltwater, sweat, wind and seasons. The brands building these products needed a manufacturing partner who actually understood that.
So we made a choice: focus only on fishing apparel. Not sportswear in general. Not outdoor gear broadly. Fishing. That focus changed every part of the operation — from how we develop samples to how we think about a partner's product roadmap.
Since 2009 that decision has guided every partnership we have built — and 17+ years later it still does.
